Big Lunch

Plato Paceño

This morning was spent helping Amissa with tests until 2:00pm — we were to meet a colleague of mine for lunch.  We met Juan at Bar Levante – a busy little joint on Avenida Levante.  We let him order his favorite tapas.  We had some fancy oven baked octopus, sepia, crab claws, montaditos, calamari, and more.  The bill was split three ways but Juan was nice enough to cover half of Amissa’s part. Later, we met Ines at Sarao and caught up.  At home, I made a plato Paceño with leftover chicken, goat cheese, and abbas. It was a light dinner that was sufficient after such a big lunch. At 11pm, we went out to meet Ines and her friends at Sarao again.  We all then migrated to Chaplin. It was pouring outside.  I bought a €4 rum and coke.
