Bar La Delicia

Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012

After work, Amissa, Alex, and I went to Bar La Delicia, a bar on the north-eastern side of town.  The Walkers had told us about this bar and they’re popular €4 menu del dia.  The menu del dia is a spanish tradition that includes a drinks, an appetizer, entree, dessert, and some places thrown in the coffee/tea for  one (usually) reasonable price. Well, €4 is a hell of a deal. We decided to go check it out.  We sat oustide. Unlike San Augustin, Delicia only had two options for each plate.  This Thursday they had fideua, pork ribs, and a fruit dessert.

The food was great! I’m sure we’ll be returning every Thursday.  Before leaving to the bar, Cande invited us to Los Chilines, a wine shop, for a cata de vinos (wine tasting & tapas) on Saturday night.  We were supposed to rsvp with her by Friday. Later that night, Alex and I went on a wine hunt. We came back home, opened our bottles, and drank.
