I woke up around 8 in the morning. I had heard from South American locals that Bar Copacabana had €1 Salteñas on Saturdays and Sundays. I walked over to the bar with Amissa. Gold! We bought five salteñas– four for us and a half for each roommate. The day went by. Alex left to Murcia. We would meet him there on Sunday.
At night, we walked around with Kat and bumped into Anni at Nine Cloud, a bar near Jardin Rey Don Pedro. Anni hosted Kat for a night and also speaks pretty good English. She introduced us to Mari, our landlady’s daughter. We sat outside the bar with a group of ten people. Soon they headed to Nuestro bar for tapas and drinks. Along the way, we met with more people. Once at the bar, we joined about five tables to make room for the people who were still coming. In total, there would be a little over 20 of us. The bill turned out to be €200+ and each person paid only a small amount.
The food was great and plentiful. I can’t remember everything we had– definitely over ten dishes. Patatas con berberechos, croquetas, beieras, calamari, marineras, pescado frito, ensaladilla russa, almendras, olivas, and more. We met some people although most were way older than us. After the tapas, we headed to Underground, a bar next to Chaplin. At Underground, we hung around, took a shot, and got to meet some more people. We headed home around 2 am.
